Directors and Staff

Executive Director

Tori Martinez

Tori is a 3rd year going into Media Arts. She has been with the SWFC crew for 3 years. She started out as a concessionist and fell in love with the agency and decided to stick around. She is obsessed with Baby Driver, (she has seen it at least four times in theaters, she is also in love with Ansel Elgort). She's also a sucker for The Goonies and Beauty and the Beast. Tori is extremely excited to be returning as the director for SWFC.

Assistant Director

Sara Velasquez

Sara is a 3rd year double majoring in Strategic Communications and Anthropology. She enjoys reading, drinking lots of tea, and of course, going to the movies. Some of her favorite movies include The Conjuring, La La Land, and Sing Street. Sara is very excited to be returning to the Southwest Film Center team and can't wait for what this year has in store for herself and the agency!

Marketing Director

Joshua Stepp

Josh is a 3rd year IFDM student studying film production. He's fascinated by all things film, animation, and graphic design. His favorite movie list changes all of the time, spanning every era, style, and genre, but usually the Toy Story, Star Wars, and Lord of The Rings trilogies are on the list.

Theater Manager

Martin Parra

Martin is a IFDM Major interested in becoming a director. Though he love several aspects of the film industry, he is mostly fond of the way film is used to tell a story visually. He is excited to work at SWFC because of the interactions he will have with several individuals with similar interests in film as well as being able to see the process of bringing a film to screen for a general audience. His favorite films (though perhaps he has many more) are Breathless, a Clockwork Orange, and the original Star Wars.

Head Projectionist

Jennifer Jenkins

Jennifer is going into her 3rd year majoring in Media Arts. Jennifer loves Star Wars, Stark Trek & Friends. She is from Palm Desert in California and loves living in New Mexico. She's been working with SWFC for going on three years now and she loves it because of the connections she has made. She also loves working tech and learning new things every year.

Anneliese Ward

Anneliese is from California and is really excited to get to work at place where movies aren't super expensive to watch! Her favorite movies would have to be Rocky Horror Picture Show and Paprika, and she will be a first year marketing major this year at UNM. She's glad to be here, go Lobos!
